What makes you different from all the other health-related holidays?
We want to you to leave us feeling the healthiest you’ve ever been, and full of ideas to bring home! Our focus is on setting realistic, achievable goals for the lifestyle changes you’re looking to make, and helping you to reach these. During your week with us, we will discuss your objectives and identify ways to make them a reality.
Healthy Start Holidays are all-inclusive. All meals, bike rental, airport transfers, tours and scheduled activities are included in the price of your trip.
Can I bring my own bike?
Of course! Please let us know if you are bringing your bike so we can make sure there’s space in the car for it when we pick you up from the airport.
I want to promote you in my organisation. Can you send me some materials to share?
We would love that! Let us know who you work for and how you were thinking of promoting us, and we’ll send you the appropriate information! Contact us.
I’m worried about the pace of activities being too fast for my abilities. Are you sure you cater for everyone?
Please don’t worry about this at all – we were all beginners once!
Let us know exactly what is worrying you. Is it that you don’t feel comfortable in the water for a swimming session? Or do you have a fear of being on the roads on a bicycle? We will understand. We want to make sure you can take the next step for you in the scheduled activities.
If you really don’t want to take part in something, you can enjoy the house at your leisure and chill out, or enjoy one of our suggested alternatives – look at ‘The Area‘ for ideas!
I’m worried about the pace of activities being too slow for my abilities. How can I know there’s something for me?
All sessions will be organised according to ability, with a coach / guide leading each group. Coach Ian has brought home medals in the European and World Championships for triathlon, and loves to be put through his paces – feel free to race him, but don’t feel bad if you can’t keep up!
We are a group of three. Can we share one room?
This possibility is available. Please send us a message and we will discuss the options with you!
Is there a discount for booking out the whole house?
Yes, of course! And we will also be happy to amend the schedule to suit your needs. Please get in touch with us for more information.
I am a single traveller, but there are only double rooms left. What shall I do?
Please send us a message with the issue, and we will try our best to accommodate you.
I want to book in, but there’s no space! What shall I do?
Please send us a message, and we will put you on a waiting list in case one of our guests has to drop out at the last minute. We can also put you on our mailing list for future holidays and breaks.
I work for a company that wants Healthy Starts to provide us with a team-building day-out. Can you provide us with a quote?

I’m pregnant. Is this safe for me?
All of our activities are safe for pregnant women, and we will make sure your menu is, too. As with everything, all activities are undertaken at your own risk however. Please do let us know if you are pregnant, so that we can cater for you and design a programme that suits.
